Workplace-based learning, gym “Friskis & Svettis”, Mölnlycke, Gothenburg region, Sweden

Vocational programmes include 15 weeks of workplace training (Arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning – APU) over the three-year period. Schools are responsible for arranging workplace training and verifying its quality. Gym “Friskis & Svettis”, Mölnlycke, which offers a variety of activities, such as aerobics, step aerobics and spinning is a one of workplace-based learning student placements.

  2. Dear Janna! I am happy to answer your question! Commerce and Administration program prepares students for specific trades and careers as for exempel Administrator, Hulebäcks' students practise as Administrators at Friskis & Svettis' reception

  3. Friskis & Svettis is a good internship placement I think (I often train there, and I know there is lots of administrative work behind their success! :-)
    You mention the school is responsible for the students' work placements - who does this job? Is it one person from the Commerce and Admin program?
