Yes it´s beautiful! I love that the student has played with the shape of a butterfly. I think it took almost a day to do the butterfly for the student. In a flowershop it most be done much much faster.
What a nice idea to make creations like this for a funeral! In stead of the traditional things! This way one can by flowers decribe the person who died and celebrate whom he/she was in life. Beautifully done!
I think that more personal funerals are coming more and more. That our intrests are going to decide what we are going to have for decorations during the funeral.
Elena, flower used in the butterfly is carnations, chrysanthemum and some hypericum (St. John´s wort) . I love that the student have palyed with the flowers in pattern, makes it more fun and alive.
Today there is not so many taboos when it comes to funerals, the funerals becoming more and more personal and with the personal touch the taboos are going away. We talk to the students about what used to be used and what is usefull today, and which rules that are customary today.
Awesome, you make a butterflyhat and I´ll make some decorations. ;) Sometimes this school work with hair dressers and make projects between the florists and the hair dressers.
This looks beautiful. How long does it take for an student to complete a butterfly?
