Brochures should be valued if they are good and informative.
What is a good brochures for turism?

  1. It is really nice that the students may be involved in something that will be useful in their own community. To make a broschure that really will be used by the municipallity seems to be a relly good way to involve the students and teach in an interesting way.

    1. Yeah I'm really impressed with the school I was at. The way it worked in the municipality felt right.

  2. I also would like to point out that I think it is nice that the students may attend a fair to gather material and inspiration in order to create their own broschure. By attending a fair the students do not only get inspiration, but so much more insight into the field of the fair. It will be usefull to them in their future careers as well. However it seems that students very often attends quite a few fairs, so perhaps they get boored going there instead of getting inspiration.

    1. Yes obvious, the municipality was often involved and the Program manager had very good relationship with the municipality. Close cooperation. Most of the projects were reality based.

    2. Very instructive, often also used the school as an arena, exhibitions, scene, and information that the students shared with other schools. Great way to practice on future work. Teamwork

  4. What a great way to learn! By visit a tourism fair, gather information from different companies, cities, municipalities and use this to create something to be used in a "real life" project.

Petronella: A reason why student tend to go to few fairs, and get bored etc., might be because the task for them to do during the fair is boring! Too many times I've experience teachers bringing students to fairs, asking them to "Take pictures of the nicest showcase"...

  5. Nice to see real projects. At the restaurant program, it is so obvious and easy to find real-life tasks, we are a bit spoiled.

    1. Yes it is always straight into reality. The food to be cooked and served. It is useful for us to see how others are doing.
