Hello Annika
ReplyDeleteWhat programs do you have at your school?
Do you have any particular profile?
Our programs are stylist/make up artist, design or indoor decorator, economics and you can also study behavior courses. I don´t know if our profile is well known but we want to set the profile to be a small familiar school.
ReplyDeleteDear Annika!
ReplyDeleteHas your high school a high rating? How many students has applied for the programme which you teach this year?
Best regards,
Elena Medin
What is it like to work in a private school? Do you feel it differs in any way from working in a school run by the municipality? If it does, why is that?
ReplyDeleteYes Elena, we do have a high rating on most of our programs. Even if some classes doesn't start with 32 students it takes just a few week until they all full. Petronella, don't know, I've been working at different private ones and those run by the municipality. Maybe, in private schools we are more involved in our budget, key figure and financial ratios. Just a guess!
ReplyDeleteIt is great that young people feel to choose your school!

Yes it is Elena. I think one of the biggest challenged all school stand before is; what is the key to attract students. Me personally, think of my students as customer, I must deliver to everyone of them, notice everyone every day otherwise I think they get disappointed about me as a teacher and maybe even the school but most of all I think one of the keys about learning is the bond between teacher and student.I might have been working to long in the service industry, to act so service minded. :-)
