This is how our students are creative. The task was to create a flower made from sugarpaste.
The first time they do this exersize it usually takes up to 2 hours to complete. After a couple of lessons they become more skilled, confident and faster in completing a fully decorated cupcake.
Can you eat the flowers, or are they just decorative?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of patience the students must have to do this work.
Hi Beverly, You can eat the flowers as they are eatible. These are special flowers that are used as decoration in pastries and food.
ReplyDeleteThe students have a lot of pateince and sometimes my job as a teacher is to teach them that patiens is what they need to have in order to learn the acuired skills.

ReplyDeleteJanna, perhaps you could get together with the schools that offers education in florist...? You could teach their students to make edible flowe arrangements... And of course real flowers also are edible many times, so vice versa would work as well... :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is not an bad idea Petronella.
ReplyDeleteWell...I want to try one out NOW!
